Wireless security cameras can save a lot of time and money when installing a security camera system.  Wireless cameras don’t require expensive video cables to be run between the camera and the display or recording device.  Look for cameras with a 2.4GHz operarating frequency for the best results.  You’ll get less interference and a stronger signal.

And keep in mind that you still have to provide power to the cameras, usually 12VDC.  Distance is another factor – if you need to go more than a few hundred feet and there are any obstructions in the way, you’ll have to use a wired camera.  Look for a deal that includes a free receiver, or else you’ll have to buy a separate one for each camera.  Find out more about wireless security cameras.
